Maren

What if you didn't have to search for the right person?

Maren gets to know you, what you actually want, what hasn't worked, what you're done settling for. Then she finds one person she thinks you should meet, and tells you exactly why.

One quick question.

What's the most frustrating thing about dating apps?

If you could build the perfect way to find the right person, what would it do differently?

Totally optional. But we're listening.

Noted. That actually helps.

Here's what changes.

You don't build a profile. You have a conversation. Maren asks you real questions, not "what are your hobbies" but the stuff that actually matters when you're sitting across from someone.

Then she goes quiet. You don't browse. You don't swipe. You don't manage six half-dead conversations with strangers.

When she finds someone, she comes back with one name and one reason. Not "you both like hiking." A real reason. The kind that makes you think — okay, I'd want to meet this person. And if it's not right, she learns from that too. The longer you're with Maren, the better she knows what right looks like for you.

"I built Maren because I watched good people waste years on apps that were never designed to help them find someone. The business model was attention, not outcomes. I wanted to build the opposite."

— Soufi, building Maren solo in Charlotte. Because someone should.

What people keep telling us

"I've been saying this for years, just pick for me. I don't want to browse, I don't want to choose from a grid. I just want someone to say 'trust me, meet this person.'"

— Waitlist member, Charlotte

"The part about telling you WHY you should meet someone. That's the thing. Every app shows you a face and says good luck. This actually explains the reason."

— Waitlist member, Charlotte

You already know this part.

You download the app. You build the profile. You pick photos that feel like a performance. You swipe until your thumb goes numb. You match with someone. You write something clever. They never respond. Or they do, and it goes nowhere. Or it goes somewhere, and the person you meet looks nothing like the person you imagined.

You do this for months. Maybe years. And at some point you stop blaming yourself and start wondering, what if this whole thing was never designed to actually work?

It wasn't. Dating apps make money when you keep coming back. Maren only works if you stop needing her.

Things you're never doing again.

Swiping through strangers
Writing openers that get ignored
Managing five dead conversations
Wondering if someone's actually serious
Performing for an algorithm

You open Maren when she has someone for you. That's it.

A glimpse of what it feels like.

This is what it looks like when someone finds the right person for you.

I found someone.

Someone I think you need to meet.

Why you two

When things get tense, you both pull back instead of pushing. Then you come back. I matched you on that before anything else.

There's more.

A lot more. This is just the beginning of how Maren introduces you.

This is what your first match looks like. Join the list to see who it is.

This is for you if…

You've deleted a dating app at least once and came back because you didn't have a better option. You're good at your life, your job, your friendships, your routine and you can't figure out why finding one person feels like the hardest thing you do. You'd rather meet one person who actually makes sense than scroll through a hundred who don't. You don't need more options. You need someone to find the right one.

If you want to browse hundreds of profiles on a Friday night, that's not what Maren does. And that's okay.

"Outcomes over attention. That's the whole idea."
